what motivates me |
|
A photograph never stands alone. It is always associated with the place and the subject of the work. I have explored many subjects over the years, but the sea, the seashore and, in general, everything that is associated with these, has always been a central theme in my photography.
A coastline is a border territory which is constantly evolving, either due to the action of man, or nature. For the majority of people, the coast has always been and still is one of the most appealing destinations for leisure activities. On the other hand, more traditional activities are disappearing, and the landscape or natural resources of the sea are continuously eroding.
It is this transformation, in its various forms, which allows presentation of a continuously differening perspective and which represents the main source of motivation for my work. |
